This energy price war has come just in time.
As the end of summer approaches now is the time to start thinking about which energy tariff will see you through this coming winter.
British Gas and EDF Energy slugged it out recently by announcing their lowest tariffs yet.
Now E.on (www.eonenergy.com)
Now, the average annual average spend looks like being £1 more expensive than EDF's Online v5 (not much but still) and with the prices fixed, its quite possible cheaper tariffs will become available in the future, however, if you're after the security of a fixed price deal then this is a welcome, low cost option.
Although it's possible to switch fixed price tariffs, cancellation charges will be applied by E.on on this tariff if one decides to do so.
Like EDF's Online v5 tariff, E.on's new tariff isn't available nationally - in 11 of the 14 regions nationally in fact so it isn't available to everyone and there is a limited amount of places so don't hang around.
