Home improvement guru and editor of Adelaide’s Transform Magazine, Bek Schapel is on a personal quest to eradicate horror stories from homes throughout Adelaide.
Having met with many experts in different home improvement field and spoken with many homeowners Bek was shocked to hear how inefficient some homes are being run.
With ineffective window glass, weak window coverings, no insulation, and a dependency on a particular method of heating and cooling, houses are an energy efficiency and expense disaster.
Additionally homeowners can be led down the garden path on the quality of the products and furniture they are purchasing, and as to what product will best suit their needs.
“That’s what Transform Magazine is all about, providing information to home owners to enable them to make decisions that will suit their needs, help them know their rights, and understand how they can help the environment, all while creating the perfect home for their lifestyle,” says Bek Schapel
“Transform Magazine wont be stopping there either, it’s time to move forward from that shag carpet that has been in your house since 1976, remove those lavender loos from your bathrooms and don’t get me started on wood panelling on walls!”
“I’m sure that Transform Magazine will become essential reading for all homeowners in Adelaide.”
Transform Magazine will be distributed to 100,000 households in specifically selected suburbs in mid October. Additionally it will be available in cafes, shops and shopping centres throughout South Australia.
