NEW YORK, Aug. 20, 2009 – Many of the nation’s top employers with open job positions for MBA graduates promise to make the first annual Asian MBA Career Expo (AMBA) into a hiring bonanza. Leading companies including Booz Allen Hamilton, BP, Mass Mutual Financial Group, Monsanto, Monster, New York Life, PepsiCo, State Farm and dozens more will interview MBA job candidates at the Jacob Javits Center on September 12 at the nation’s largest gathering of Asian MBAs.
Spearheaded by Jino Ahn, founder of the pioneering recruiting firm Asian Diversity Inc., AMBA is projected to bring more than 8,000 MBA graduates, business leaders and professionals and major corporations together for an unprecedented recruitment event which will complement the highly regarded National Black MBA and National Hispanic MBA career conferences.

For business professionals interested in pursuing an MBA degree, many of the nation’s most highly ranked business schools will be at AMBA to meet and discuss their programs, including AMBA’s lead academic sponsor Columbia Business School. Georgetown University’s McDonough School of Business, Cornell University and Yale University will also be present.
For job candidates interested in pursuing global positions, AMBA will host a “Jobs in Asia” pavilion which will feature companies looking to fill positions in Asia that require U.S. education and business experience.
