Three gamers in the Twin Galaxies database can now be seen on a television commercial.
Empire Arcadia members Triforce Johnson, Justin Wong, and Prod1gy X, who each have numerous scores listed in Twin Galaxies massive database of gaming scores, are now in rotation on G4tv for gaming-based clothing line J!nx.
Triforce, who is the officially ranked World Record champion of Tetris for the Nintendo DS and the classic arcade title VS. Super Mario Bros, is seen in front of a wall filled with Twin Galaxies World Record Certificates nine seconds into the 30 second commercial spot and was recently a guest at the launch party for the International Video Game Hall of Fame and Museum in Ottumwa, IA, the very city where Twin Galaxies was founded almost three decades ago.
Justin Wong, who currently sits atop Twin Galaxies rankings for Street Fighter IV on the XBox 360 with 1,364,400 points, made waves with an exclusive interview with TwinGalaxies.com earlier this year where he stated that he would become more famous than famed pro gamer Johnathan "Fatal1ty" Wendel.
Twin Galaxies, founded in 1981, is the only official trackers of World Record video game scores and rankings, recognized as such by such entities as Guinness World Records, Gameroom Magazine, and G4tv, which airs the commercial featuring these gamers. The huge TwinGalaxies.com database contains scores from all over the world on every genre and platform ever made from the classics that were popular when the organization began to the biggest hits of today for the Nintendo Wii, XBox 360, and PlayStation 3.
