Los Angeles, CA/positivePR – Actor, Singer/Songwriter and Environmentalist, Corey Feldman has put his personal 2005 BMW 645 Ci convertible up for auction on eBay, with a portion of the proceeds pledged to environmental charity, Global Green USA. The car was featured on Feldman’s reality show, “The Two Coreys”, and If bidding gets to $50,000, Feldman and his wife Susie have offered to sign the hood of the car if the purchaser desires. Should the bidding make it up to $70,000, Feldman will personally deliver the car to the purchaser within the continental United States or Canada.
Feldman is well known for his commitment to the environment and support of sustainable, renewable forms of energy. He recently made history at Universal CityWalk with his band Truth Movement, when they performed the first-ever rock concert off the traditional power grid at the venue. The entire show was run using biodiesel generators and fuel supporting Feldman’s goal to prove through a series of “Off The Grid” shows that live musical events don’t have to jeopardize the environment with the behemoth carbon footprint for which they have become known.
“I am proud to support Global Green through this auction as well as by donating the proceeds from many of my live events to them,” Feldman commented. “Their mission to stem global climate change by creating green buildings and cities is something we can all take action to support, even in small ways at home.”
"We are so appreciative of Corey Feldman's ongoing charitable contributions to Global Green USA," said Communications Director Ruben Aronin. "His efforts to raise funds and awareness about the importance of fighting climate change by rebuilding our homes, schools and cities green is inspiring."
The auction closes on Wednesday, August 26, at 7:56 PM. The BMW’s item number on eBay is 180397828048, and can be found by visiting www.ebay.com.
