Follow on Google News | Blues Farm Records Signs Singer/Songwriter Jordan CraigThe Indie label that could, Blues Farm Records has signed Jordan Craig and plans to release his Back To Louisiana CD in September, 2009. Jordan Craig performs live around Clovis and Portales, NM, as well as West Texas.
Jordan travels throughout New Mexico and Texas singing songs to fans and meeting the folks in his songs. Calling his music New Mexicana, Jordan writes about current issues like corruption, religion, drugs, and his personal favorite, drifting. Jordan's debut CD, out on Blues Farm Records in September 2009, is called Back To Louisiana. It has a Cajun sort of feel underneath, like a party is going on, but the lyrics are often wove of stories telling of heartache and pain. It still feels like the roughness of the southwest. Jordan kept his first album simple, true to how he performs in real life, just a man with his harmonica and guitar, singing what he sees. The official website is http://jordancraig.webs.com. You'll soon be able to sample songs, buy individual downloads or purchase the CD there. Get on the fan list for freebies and other goodies, including the BFR newsletter. You can also find him on the labels official website, http://bluesfarm.webs.com. For more than two years now, Blues Farm Records has been helping southwestern artists in country, blues and rock music to develop their music, and in doing so, put Clovis, New Mexico back on the music map. Recent BFR artists include Mark Kelley and Tim O'Rourke, as well as their flagship artist Sansietch. Sansietch is currently in the studio laying tracks with Jordan for a second CD. # # # Multi-media publishing company from Clovis, New Mexico.
