Stand-up comedy show launches on Independence Day and celebrates a free India
MUMBAI – August 13, 2009: Undercover Productions, a boutique production company by Mrinal Jha and Abhigyan Jha, in collaboration with the internet portal Buzzintown today announced the launch of ‘Jay Hind!’ – The world’s first ever TV Show on an online platform. ‘Jay Hind!’ will go live on the internet from the 15th of August, Indian Independence day, and will be available at http://jayhind.buzzintown.com.
Abhigyan Jha, founder of Undercover Productions said, “Jay Hind! is about another kind of discovery of India that takes a deep look at the heart of the country and comes out laughing. The stand-up comedy show will be hosted by versatile television actor & star of the hit show Sarabhai Vs Sarabhai Sumeet Raghavan. The show will feature a stand up routine followed by quick one-liners about current events and brief comedy sketches, impromptu street interviews, celebrity interviews and performances. Further attraction in this show will be a brand new segment called ‘Boothnath’
