Los Angeles – Los Angeles-based writing and producing team Jennifer Fontaine and Marlo Bernier have teamed up with Iowa-based Mississippi Films’ producers Lonnie Schuyler and Tim Anderson for a slate of features starting with the heartwarming family film “Aaseamah’

Fontaine’s production company, Scorpio Rising Films, in association with Bernier’s Jackie Frost Films, has also signed up Schuyler and Anderson to exec produce their highly anticipated neo-noir crime thriller “Glass Houses”.
A powerful mix of sex, religion and murder, “Glass Houses”, co-written by Bernier and Fontaine, has already aligned the talent of thespians Deborah Kara Unger, Pruitt Taylor Vince, Austin Pendleton, Jason Connery and David Mattey. Jennifer Fontaine will star and Marlo Bernier will direct. Lensing to begin in April.
Fontaine is also in talks to star as Reynolds in Lonnie Schuyler’s graphic noir drama “Drop Gun” slated to begin principal photog in November. The script, written by Schuyler and Lewayne White, centers around Detective Reynolds’ consuming pursuit of a known pedophile, fueled by the pain she endured as a child at the hands of her father, which may lead her to take justice into her own hands.
