Vanessa Jackson CEO & president of Vicious Records & Entertainment host the “I Want To Be A Star” showcase to be held at the Cheyenne Community College Theater. This is a family-oriented event featuring over 200 contestants from all over the country, and attracting over 5,000 visitors that exposes the community to entertainment opportunities and cultural resources. This is a new component to expo this year and showcases the local talent here in Las Vegas and surrounding. “I Want To Be A Star” showcase will bring in several major record labels from all over the world to judge this competition;
On Friday Oct. 2, 2009 Vicious Records & Entertainment presents “I Want To Be A Star” will be held at the Cheyenne Community College Theater from 6pm to 9pm. Tickets are $20 in advance and $30 at the door. Some of the proceeds will go to the “Heart Association Of American Foundation”. “I Want To Be A Star” auditions will be held Saturday August 22, 2009 at Club Led 7700 Las Vegas Blvd. Las Vegas, NV. There will be several judges from the entertainment world judging the competition for the main event on Oct 2nd. This showcase will land several artists a major record label contract or distribution deal. This showcase is for all ages and will show America there is great talent in the Las Vegas area. This will include all genres of music and entertainment from dance, R&B, rock, country, hip-hop, comedy, and heavy metal. There will be several well-known entertainers & comedians hosting and performing at this event.
