Aug 19, 2009 – (Spokane, Wash.) - Greater Spokane Incorporated (Spokane's regional Chamber of Commerce and EDC or GSI for short) is holding an informative roundtable forum about the proposed healthcare legislation on August 27 at WSU Spokane. GSI is taking an active stance to help its members and the Spokane community to better understand the current proposed federal healthcare reform legislation. This is an extremely vital and pressing issue for the Spokane community with 25% of Spokane's GDP based in the health industry. As a result, those who attend this forum will learn how this legislation will impact the healthcare industry, patient care, those uninsured and insured, employers, and the Spokane region.
