Having read it, Seidelman was anxious to take on the assignment proclaiming, "I’m thrilled and excited to join the Magical Mystery Tour team. This is a delightfully original screenplay that I can't wait to bring to the screen." An award winning director with numerous credits to his name, Seidelman directed “The Sisters,” and “A Christmas Carol: The Musical.” Principal photography on the movie is scheduled to begin in 2010 with a theatrical release later that year.
