Follow on Google News | "Muslim Jesus" ,,, Say What !,,, Since When?My friend recently bought a book called "Muslim Jesus" on lulu.com, and told me to look into it. so I did. I was Wowed. It seemed very interesting there may be some ties between Christian and Muslims
By: Christia Claire Rassool's book covers everything from the birth of Christ to the after life of Christ. To my surprise Muslims believe in Jesus. He is called "Isa". They also believe in Mary, Adam, David, Moses, Noah, Solomon and all the rest. I thought Islam was about Mohammed and Allah. I guess I was wrong. His Book is a short read that started from one bus ride in Montreal to the other end of the City and I was done. He states that it won’t take long to read, but a life time to think about. I have to agree with his statement, because I started to do research right away in wiki, and can't stop to think about his arguments. In the Quran, they have a chapter dedicated to Virgin Mary and to Christ birth and miracles. It said's that Mary is mention more time in the Quran then the bible. There is no mention of Joseph. It seems Mary did the birth all alone. The most controversial part of his book is the chapter Crucifixion or Cruci-Fiction. The Quran said’s "they killed him not, Nor crucified him, but so it was made to appear to them,." The crucifixion is the cradle of the Christian faith and to say that Christ did not die on the Cross is possibly blasphemous by all Christians. None the less very interesting as I did do my research on this statement on line and to find that this falls on your belief solely. Although there is a Jewish scholar who wrote the Crucifixion in the first century and this is the oldest book that states the Crucifixion. Islam came about 600 hundred years after Christ. There is also a chapter about The Cross. He saids that the Cross that Jesus allegedly was crucified on is in Muslim hands. During one of the Crusades the Christians brought the Cross but when they lost the battle, they also lost the actual Cross. This I think is extremely important to know, because for us this is what Christians wear proudly across there necks around the world, and now to know that the Cross isn’t somewhere in the Vatican is very disturbing. I don’t think Christians know that the Muslim have the Cross, and maybe not even the Priests. I have never questioned the Church about the Cross before or even thought too. I will now At the end of the book Rassool holds a challenge for the reader to do on his own on Google. I won’t spoil it but I was amazed. I wonder why so much changed in Rome. I do question now who Jesus really is. You owe it to yourself as a Christian or Muslim as Rassool's saids many Muslims don’t know they are to believe in him for if they don't they can't be a Muslim? This was a good read, well written. Author Rassool Auckbaraullee has other books about key figures in history and Islam. His writing style is straight to the point. There is no rambling to cover more spaces on the page, which I like. I give the book 4/5 and am now a reader with an open mind about Islam. End
