Burlingame, CA - Qlubb http://www.qlubb.com - an online group management service – announces greater administrative functionality to monitor and manage user access of their online Qlubb sites.
Qlubb’s new administrative functionality provides greater site security and gives administrators more granular control over what Qlubb users can see and do within each Qlubb. Qlubb site administrators now have the ability to restrict a member’s ability to add or modify events, tasks, to view membership roster information, and to upload photos.
“Though Qlubb was originally designed for smaller, intimate groups, our social solution is increasingly being adopted by larger organizations.“
Today, many school-related organizations like PTAs and PTOs need to coordinate school-wide activities and manage volunteers. In the past, they typically relied on email, phone calls, in-hall nagging, and paper sign-up sheets. By moving the coordination and communication of school related events and opportunities to Qlubb’s free online service, parents and teachers can now have access to up-to-the minute activities and have a common place to interact and find information without having to worry about cluttering email inboxes, versioning documents, emailing confirmations, or misinformation.
“Qlubb makes it easier to delegate “ adds Mary-Margaret Richter, a PTA board member from Central Florida. “Qlubb also makes it easier to volunteer. One parent doesn’t have to do everything.“
With online sign-up sheets, a shared group calendar, automatic reminders, dedicated URL, email groups, and much more, Qlubb allows groups to organize and coordinate online. By making it easy and convenient for parents to volunteer and keep up-to-date on school activities, Qlubb can also improve and encourage parent participation and involvement.
“We are using Qlubb to manage our preschool’s PTO,” says Wendy Xa, Presidio Knolls School founder. “As a Reggio-inspired school, we value parental involvement and communication. Qlubb has been instrumental in making it easy for our school administrators to organize events, and easy for our parents to volunteer and become informed about the school’s activities.”
“With the current deep cuts in public education funding, I am proud that Qlubb can continue to offer schools and parents a free service which enhances the school-to-home connection,”
