“V Australia will be the only airline to offer direct flights from Brisbane to Phuket and Melbourne to Phuket,” said Brett Godfrey, Virgin Group CEO.
The new services will be available at the end of this year with the Brisbane to Phuket route set to launch on 22nd November and Melbourne to Phuket on 3rd December. Flights to Brisbane will operate three times per week and the Phuket to Melbourne flight will operate once a week.
The new Australian connections are further enhanced by Virgin Group’s existing network in Australia which connects to other key cities throughout the country.
