PRLog (Press Release) - Aug 18, 2009 -
Well, it has happened and it wasn’t the end of the world as many predicted. Last year, the first keyboard & mouse adapter for the Xbox was released and there was no impact on the community for the use of that hardware. I can assure you those gamers that kick your ass in Halo 2 or any other Xbox Live first-person shooter are not necessarily using one of these adapters.

I think that the best thing about having a keyboard & mouse adapter is simply the fact that we have another option. Thanks to a peripheral like this, a hardcore PC gamer who might feel intimidated by the Xbox controller, may possibly sit down and try a game like Halo 2 and consider getting an Xbox and Xbox Live; so we welcome any keyboard & mouse adapter as well as any other peripheral that offer an option to every gamer.

Today, we are reviewing the third keyboard & mouse adapter for the Xbox, the Max Shooter. This new adapter follows the SmartJoy Frag and Farmer Entertainment’s Magic XFPS, whose reviews can be found here and here respectively.

Considering its vast array of features, the Max Shooter is a direct competitor to the SmartJoy Frag.

As you might remember, we didn’t like the Magic XFPS as much as the SmartJoy Frag because of the lack of programming features and customization found in the SmartJoy peripheral.

So, how does the Max Shooter perform against the SmartJoy Frag, which has been to date the best keyboard and mouse adapter? What about programming and customization features?

Let’s find out!
