Prague, Czech Republic, Seattle, Washington – August 14, 2009 – The online service for travelers, www.OnTheRoad.to, has announced its decision to launch a new customer support center in the Seattle area as part of the company’s progressive focus on international growth.
OnTheRoad Inc., the owner of www.OnTheRoad.to, was established in 2007 to provide a valuable connective resource to the traveling community. OnTheRoad Inc. was designed to give travelers a smart, fun and convenient way to share photos and thoughts as they experience them.
New center at the Seattle area
Michal Blaha, the owner and CEO of the company, stated: “After a few short months of our first launch we realized that our user base was so varied, it demanded more options and services then we had initially provided. Our US customers needed more personal service, and our Development Center in Prague was just too far away to really understand the US customer’s needs with OnTheRoad service. Although we were committed to developing customized service, it was difficult for us to predict the specific needs of our American users. We knew we had to get closer to them. That is why our new center in the Seattle area will allow for closer and more personal service with a focus on customer support and marketing to US specific needs.”
As part of this decision the company will soon release a special number for the US customers, which will enable them to easily publish travel experiences via SMS or MMS. Michaela Romanova, marketing manager, stated: “Seattle has a very vivid start up scene. Every day I am faced with challenging and innovative ideas that come from the local social media network.
