Key West snorkeling on the Fury Cat
This fall, Key West Dive Center expands its horizons from Key West diving trips to incorporate the popular Key West snorkeling excursions loved by all Key West visitors. Never being one to settle for standard or mediocre trips, the Key West Dive Center has teamed up with one of the top tour operators on the island and will provide excursions on the famous Fury Cat Key West snorkeling boat.
The Fury Cat is Key West's premier snorkeling vessel. Measuring 78 feet in length, the boat provides the most space and comfort of any Key West snorkeling adventure. Aboard the Fury Cat, you will find spacious sundecks to take in the warm Key West Florida sun, comfortable shaded areas to take a break from the sun and relax, bathroom facilities, and a bar serving beers, wines, and sodas. Though the boat can hold up to 80 guests, the Key West Dive Center maxes out their guests at 45 in order to keep guests' Key West snorkeling trips as comfortable and intimate as possible.
The Key West Dive Center now offers three Key West snorkeling ( http://www.bestonkeywest.com ) trips daily with the Fury Cat, at 9AM, 1PM, and 5PM. Trips last a full 3.5 hours and head out to two locations on the coral reef for about an hour of snorkeling time at each location. The captain on board makes sure to pick the best possible location on the reef after taking into account that day's wind, tide, and sea conditions.
Snorkeling in Key West, much like Key West diving ( http://www.keywestscubadive.com ), is known as one of the best places to explore a unique and fascinating underwater world. The coral reef in Key West houses over 400 species of marine animals and coral reef formations.
