Aug. 17, 2009 - PRLog -- Following the Atlanta world premiere of The Hero of Time (HoT), New York City was named the highest voted HoT Spot city to continue the tour of BMB Finishes’ highly anticipated fan film.

The next Hero of Time screening will be in New York City at Tribeca Cinemas on Saturday, September 12, 2009 with show times at 7:15pm and 9:15pm. Doors open at 7:00pm. Director Joel Musch and Co-Producer David Blane, along with Hannah Fierman (Princess Zelda) will be present to introduce the film to attendees. BMB Finishes created this film in homage to the Nintendo game, The Legend of Zelda series, and will not profit from screenings or any activity connected to the film.

The Hero of Time begins when a young boy from the forest (Link, played by David Blane) is beckoned by his dreams and the sage of the forest (Deku Tree) to venture to the city of Hyrule and seek Princess Zelda’s council. The evil Lord Ganondorf (Adam Boyer) has plotted to overthrow the kingdom which propels Princess Zelda (Hannah Fierman) into hiding. Link aspires to save Zelda and the kingdom by pulling the Master Sword in the Temple of Time - consequently sending him five years into the future where Ganondorf now rules and threatens the future of the kingdom. Link must find a way to save his princess and assemble the pieces of the Triforce which will return peace to the land of Hyrule.

Following 3.5 million views of the original The Hero of Time trailer, BMB produced two follow up teasers for the film including, “The Hero of Time Dance Party” which parodied the original Zelda-Nintendo commercial. George R. Powell wrote an original score for the film which expedited production to allow for the finalized trailer in late 2008, promising eager fans a summer 2009 premiere. The Hero of Time premiered June 6th, 2009 at the Plaza Theater in Atlanta, Georgia.
