Inc. Magazine unveiled its exclusive list of America’s Fastest Growing Private Companies, the Inc. 5000, today and Oklahoma software company Docsoft Inc. ranks number 3,856 on the third annual list. The list represents the most comprehensive look at the country’s entrepreneur segment of the economy. With a 56.7% growth rate over the last 3 years, Docsoft is one of only 45 Oklahoma companies to make this year’s list.
According to Inc. 5000 project manager Jim Melloan, The Inc. 5000 is such an eagerly anticipated list each year because “trend spotters and those who invest in private companies know that the Inc. 5000 is the best place to find out about companies that are achieving success through a wide variety of unprecedented business models and expanding at an impressive rate. The 2009 Inc. 5000 companies are responsible for creating more than 1 million jobs since their founding, making the list perhaps the best example of the impact private, fast growing companies can have on the economy.”
