The National Council of State Boards of Nursing (NCSB) of the United States finally agreed to administer the National Council on Licensure Examinations (NCLEX) locally in the Philippines.
This in spite of the June 2006 nursing licensure exam scandal. Prior to this development, NCLEX takers had to take the exam in Guam, Saipan, or Hongkong which adds to the expenses whereas now they’ll be able to save at least $200 in travel expenses (Hongkong fare). The NCLEX in itself costs $350. Pearson VUE will facilitate the NCLEX here in the Philippines.
HOW TO APPLY FOR THE NCLEX
The complete information on how to apply for the NCLEX exam is available at the Pearson VUE web site below It is also available at the National Council of State Boards of Nursing (NCSBN) web site a

Guys, how long is the waiting list for the NCLEX exam once you got confirmation from the state that you're applying and paid the fee at Pearson Vue? How many sessions and examinees are there per month?
And is there a cheap NCLEX application agency around? Applying by myself is a bit of a hassle and some agencies charge around 4000-5000 pesos as service fee.
