Puritan's Free Pants Wednesday
“Free Pants Wednesday is just something fun we decided to
do for our community,” said Gary Glover, President of Puritan
Cleaners. “We just received an award for best same day
cleaner from Richmond Magazine, and we wanted to do
something to thank all the folks in our service area. We’re
not sure how many people will take advantage of this offer,
but we’re staffing up that day to be ready for increased store
traffic. This is an offer that everyone can take advantage of,
and I hope to see many of our neighbors on the 19th.”
“We’re hoping for a good turnout that day,” added Norman Way, Director of Operations at Puritan. “We’re testing the
effectiveness of e-social marketing by depending primarily on Twitter, Facebook and Linked In. We’ve even posted
comical Free Pants Wednesday videos on YouTube. We’re encouraging everyone who receives our Free Pants offer
to forward it to all of their acquaintances in Greater Richmond.”
Puritan Cleaners has 13 locations throughout Greater Richmond and also has an extensive home delivery program
that covers much of the area. They offer dry cleaning, laundry, and alterations, as well as other related services.
They have been very active in the Richmond community, with outreach programs that include Coats For Kids, the
