Omaha, Neb. father of four - a regular Kum & Go customer - takes home a new Sportster 883 Low by Harley-Davidson

LAS VEGAS (August 16, 2009) – On August 11, XYIENCE and Kum & Go made one man’s longtime dream of owning a Harley-Davidson a reality. XYIENCE announces that Tim Nolan, a 32-year old father of four from Omaha, Neb., is the winner of its Harley-Davidson promotion. The contest, which kicked off in May, offered Kum & Go customers in Nebraska, Iowa and Missouri the chance win a Sportster 883 Low by Harley-Davidson. Nolan, whose winning entry was selected at random, was among thousands of Kum & Go customers who submitted an entry online. Entry forms were available at 485 participating Kum & Go locations.  XYIENCE presented Nolan with the Harley-Davidson on Tuesday, August 11 at Kum & Go’s store located at 11111 Emmet Street in Omaha.

The contest was a huge success for XYIENCE and Kum & Go.  While no purchase was necessary to enter the contest, sales of Xenergy at participating Kum & Go locations quadrupled during the promotion.  Nolan added to those numbers.  The local carpenter who worked on a crew that built one of Kum & Go’s local stores in Omaha, remains a loyal customer, picking up XYIENCE’s energy drink, Xenergy, every morning in lieu of coffee.

“I’ve always wanted to own a Harley-Davidson,” says Nolan, who will be taking home the Harley-Davidson Sportster 883 Low, which is known as the easiest and most memorable bike to ride.  It features a rubber-mounted 883cc Evolution engine, the lowest suspension in its line, a chrome staggered shorty exhaust, front and full rear fenders, a low, classic solo seat and stainless steel wide classic handlebars.

Nolan and his wife are gearing up to celebrate the second birthday of their triplets in September, so this busy dad didn't spend much time thinking about winning the contest.  In fact, he wasn’t sure if he had even entered. “I picked up my ticket, went online and while entering my computer froze. I was never really sure if it actually went through. It looks like it did, and it’s amazing that I won,” he says.
