(Kaunas, LT) Controversial rapper and founder of Lithuanian Hip Hop Council Dovidas Urbonas cut ribbon at Tha Funk Inkubator today in his home country yesterday. Through an interpreter, Urbonas said “This represent good opportunity for young artist to hone their stylings while working with industry veteran. I proud to be part of historical event in Lithuanian culture and history. This is not attempt to create rivalry between east and west, I want promote positive message thru rap muzicks.”
Dovidas Urbonas is considered by many to be a maverick in Lithuanian Hip-Hop culture and society. Varimants Murnieks, the Quincy Jones of Lithuania, categorically states that Dovidas is a force to be reckoned with in the International Rap/Hip-Hop scene.
