Sexy, cool and glamorous, Miami Beach has been a go-to destination for A-list celebrities - from Frank Sinatra to George Clooney – and the wealthy or wannabe wealthy for decades and is America’s all-season playground and retreat. It’s not surprising then that recently launched Glamour Quotient magazine originates from Miami Beach and covers the stories and subjects that have fascinated the well-to-do and those who aspire to be well-to-do.

Travel, Style, Products and Destinations are just a few of the categories that are given a glamorous spin with a humorous twist in this magazine that is already proving to be addictive to readers across the country. Fresh, snappy writing; revealing interviews; quirky and off-the-beaten path subjects and a well-rounded range of stories inform and amuse visitors with every visit and click.

“Creating a magazine like The Glamour Quotient has always been my dream,” says Andrea Marie Thompson, editor-in-chief, The Glamour Quotient and President, Glamour Quotient Communications. “Developing, writing and creatively directing each issue is a joy and I think our readers are equally delighted with our weekly content.” A former columnist for USA Today and editor for Women’s Wear Daily, Thompson has had a long and successful writing career. She has also been published in Budget Travel and Marie Claire magazines and is a former entertainment reporter for Miami’s CBS affiliate, WFOR-TV.  

The Glamour Quotient magazine and blog are just the beginning for the brand. The Glamour Quotient plans to shortly expand into network television shows and casual products and travel guides. “The Glamour Quotient brand is one that is creatively flexible,” notes Thompson. “There are so many channels into which we can expand and we’re not only actively developing those channels but always brainstorming new ways in which we can reach more readers who we know will learn from, and grow with, us.
