Lebanese Investors look to Cyprus as Lifeboat
Beirut, Lebanon
Investors took notice during the preview of the Cyprus Investment Festival held in Beirut recently.
The event, organized through a consortium of Cyprus Developers, introduced the Open Doors policy of Cyprus, which allows for the application of an Immigration permit for non-European investors.
The highlight of the opening was the unveiling of Minthis Hills, a luxury community near Paphos, which is being developed by Pafilia.
Another star of the event was the new waterfront luxury tower in Larnaca promenade, from Iacovou Brothers Development.
“ We are looking into the Cyprus opportunity carefully” said one investor.
We never know in Lebanon what the future will bring, and that is why Cyprus makes sense to have some part of our holdings nearby our own country, he added. "It is true that Cyprus is a bridge to the EU for us, and we are encouraged by these new projects and the new law", he said.
The Cyprus Investment Festival, organized by Dubai based World Class Group in conjunction with MyPropertyCyprus.com officially opens at the Phoenicia Hotel in downtown Beirut on the 20th of August and will continue to introduce Cyprus opportunities until the end of August.
