Being ‘in a recession’ doesn’t automatically make you think of jetting off for the weekend in a private jet, but Execflyer, an online booking system for private aircraft is launching a bespoke quoting service for those wishing to find value for money when hiring a private jet or helicopter.
By focussing on providing a price comparison service, Execflyer feels it can ride the current recession and stand out from competitors with its value-driven offer. Although seen as a luxury, demand for jet hire is still prevalent among executives and private individuals;
The system works by customers submitting their requirements such as aircraft type, location and date, the Execflyer team then contact individual aircraft suppliers to find the best price. Typical customers tend to be busy professionals so the time-consuming work of shopping around for suppliers is done by Execflyer.
