The first Savannahs were produced by crossing an African Serval and a pedigree domestic cat.
Our Savannahs are a hybrid produced by crossing African Servals with Savannahs or breeding Savannahs with Savannahs. To ensure the purest, highest quality Savannah, we do not believe in using any other pedigree cats in our breeding program (such as the purebred Bengal cat).
We have the very finest and first generations of this remarkable breed, providing the richest, most vibrant hybrid cat available in the market today. Our breeding programs ensure complete socialization of every cat making them tolerant of multiple owners, other household pets and children, litter-box reliant and they have the ability to be trained/leash walked just like some of the best dog breeds. Savannahs require no different care than ordinary domestic cats. No special cat food is required.
However, because the breeding can be difficult, Savannahs will likely remain less common and can be quite expensive. The Savannah is a TICA registered cat breed and ownership is legal throughout the United States.
