Career Quest Learning Center is a Michigan career training center with campuses in Lansing and Jackson, Mich. New sessions for medical administrative assistant certification, medical assistant programs, Microsoft office certification, and an administrative assistant program kicked off this week in addition to the IT Professional certification program.
IT Professional certification prepares students for employment within the information technology field. Information technology is one of the fastest growing sectors in the Capital Area, having grown 20% between 1998 and 2004—seven times the rate of usual job sector growth. IT Professional Certification will prepare students in computer hardware and software troubleshooting and support and in Local Area Networks. Graduates of the IT Professional Certification Program will be qualified for employment as Help Desk Support Specialists, LAN Administrators and computer hardware technicians.
“It’s exciting to see such a lucrative program growing, especially in our area,” said Todd Brewer, Career Quest Executive Director. “I think we can only look forward to more growth in the IT industry in Lansing in years to come.”
