TST adds e-mail tools to its Instructional Design Studio
The Source Training, Inc. announces the addition of the Message Builder, Blast Builder, and Notifier Maintenance tools as new options for the Instructional Design Studio (IDSvX). These tools work together to allow for powerful e-mail messaging capabilities.
TST released the IDSvX in July 2009. It is designed as a modular set of tools that facilitate the creation and administration of custom learning objects and the Blended Learning Portal LMS.

The Message Builder tool gives users the ability to create and maintain html and/or plain text e-mail messaging.
The Blast Builder tool facilitates the creation and maintenance of email blasts including creation of distribution lists, selection of messaging, and message scheduling.
The Notifier Maintenance tool allows for the creation of scheduled database scans to identify any email notifications that are scheduled to be sent along with reporting on sent messages.
