Attendees will have the opportunity to socialize with optical professionals and network with local firms. President Derek Fitzpatrick will also be available to meet guests. Fitzpatrick brings with him both fresh perspective and core industry knowledge. Between 1998-2000, he worked as Director of Operations at Integrated Optical Services gaining a detailed understanding of their manufacturing processes and internal operations.
Started in 1972, Integrated Optical Services has provided R & D level manufacturing of prototypes and other optical components used by small and large companies in Silicon Valley.

In addition to the ‘meet and greet’ program, visitors will have an opportunity to take a tour of Integrated Optical Services’ facilities located in Santa Clara, CA.
“This open house will enable not only community members but also manufacturers a first-hand look at our facilities and production capabilities. We want industry members to know that we offer the highest level fabrication and quality in light pipes, lenses, prisms, substrates and mirrors.”
The Open House will be held on Friday, August 21st from 10:00AM until 4:00PM. Snacks and refreshments will be served throughout the day.
