Now you can have your cake and eat it, too. Newton, NJ, artist, Jennie Traill Schaeffer, is offering a special incentive to drive traffic to her Facebook page for her service Wedding Cake Portraits. When Facebook users become a fan of Wedding Cake Portraits they (or someone of their choosing, should they not be married) will be entered to win a free painting of the top tier of their wedding cake.
The award-winning artist has been painting portraits of wedding cakes for over two years now.. Schaeffer decided to celebrate her first anniversary by painting her wedding cake. Her wedding cake paintings were so well received she decided she could offer her customers a unique way to hold onto the fleeting taste, texture, and memory of the wedding cake.
These delectable paintings make fantastic wedding gifts, anniversary gifts, or special holiday gifts—the perfect gift for the discerning couple that has everything. The artist masterfully translates your sweetest wedding memory into an exquisite heirloom, forever preserving the richest memories of your special day.
At Wedding Cake Portraits’ Facebook page fans can savor Schaeffer’s creative process as she sketches ideas and applies thick, frosting-like layers of paint. Many times the clients will comment live on the page with their feedback. She also provides recommendations to other affiliated wedding vendors.
Schaeffer started using Facebook earlier this year when she learned of its growing popularity, “I love that with Facebook I’ve connected with friends and acquaintances from high school and college, as well as new business partnerships around the country. These were audiences I couldn’t possibly reach as easily without this application,”
At the moment, Wedding Cake Portraits can be found through a link on her web site: ww.weddingcakeportraits.com. Schaeffer’s goal is to reach 200 fans, after that she will select a winner.
Examples of Schaeffer’s Wedding Cake Portraits can be viewed in person at her studio / gallery, TraillWorks, at 135 Spring Street in Newton, NJ. Hours are posted on her web site: www.weddingcakeportraits.com.
