ORLANDO, FL – Fifteen members of Orlando Rowing Club, Inc. (ORC) will be competing at the 2009 USRowing Masters National Championships beginning today. ORC will be represented in three sweep events and one sculling event.
The event is being held at the Cooper River in Camden, N.J. The four-day regatta runs through Sunday.
Co-hosted by USRowing, Rutgers Alumni Crew at Camden, Cooper River Rowing Association and the Camden County Parks, the regatta features more than 1,800 entries from 147 clubs competing for national titles in 195 events. The regatta is the largest masters national championships in history.

Orlando Rowing Club, Inc. (ORC) is a non-profit 501(c)3 organization that supports and develops amateur athletes (19 years and older) for local, national or international rowing competition, fosters amateur rowing through education and instruction, and promotes adult physical fitness through the sport of rowing. ORC is a member of USRowing, the national governing body of the sport. ORC members compete in regattas nationally.
