This past weekend the Backstage Creations gifting suite was abuzz with celebrities from the music, film and television worlds. Celebrities such a will.i.am from the Black-Eyed Peas gravitated toward and chose the staple shoe, the AKA Blank, to design himself.
Jordin Sparks went crazy over the Local Rec hi-top and made sure to include her brother in the process! The spring 2010 Tek Vector series really resonated with Sean Kingston, Qwest Crew dancers, Brenda Song and Apl, also of the Black-Eyed Peas – the lavender and turquoise spring colors really made an impact.
Brenda Song was heard saying “I’m obsessed!” as she admired the turquoise sample shoe. The cast of iCarly, music group Honor Society, Lil Mama, Frankie Jonas, Shailene Woodley, Olympian Shawn Johnson, Miss J, Abigail Breslin, Sofia Vasilieva, Kellan Lutz and Ross Mathews of The Insider loved the concept of custom art on sneakers. Mathews not only took away a pair of his faves, and can't wait for the slip-ons to become available, decided to share TAGÜR with his own viewers by instigating his own giveaway.
Britney Spears visited TAGÜR during her select sweep through Backstage Creations; the AKA Blank was her pick, too, as she considered designing her own sneaker. She will also be receiving a pair of the Pink Camo and El Done styles.
TAGÜR, urging creativity and self-expression, proved the perfect match for the creative talent that rocked Teen Choice 2009.
