Kim’s experience in construction project management and her passion for sustainability will make her a valuable asset to the LEED Linc team of green building professionals.
Benson obtained her Low Impact Development Certificate to better understand one of the major challenges facing builders in the Pacific Northwest; stormwater management. She studied sustainable practices such as green roofs, bioretention systems, rainwater collection and reuse, permeable paving, and pin foundations. She is also active in local groups that promote sustainability and the Cascadia Region Green Building Council.
