Sourcefire and Bradford Networks Partner for Increased Network Security and Remediation Capabilities

Open source innovator and Snort(R) creator, Sourcefire, Inc. (Nasdaq:FIRE), a leader in Cybersecurity, and Bradford Networks, the leading provider of advanced network access control (NAC) solutions, today announced that the companies have integrated the Sourcefire 3D(R) System with Bradford Networks' Campus Manager and NAC Director(TM) for automated remediation against potential attacks, vulnerabilities or policy violations. Through this collaboration, Sourcefire's leading intrusion prevention system (http://www.sourcefire.com/solutions/etm/ips) with RNA(R) (Real-time Network Awareness ) will alert Bradford's network access control (NAC) solution to network events that require action or remediation, such as limiting network access or denying it all together.

The combination of leading technology from Sourcefire(R) and Bradford enables users to easily monitor and respond to issues arising from unauthorized users, devices, access or activities. Specifically, this integration provides users with the following capabilities:

   * If the Sourcefire IPS(TM) detects a potentially malicious or compromised host inside the network, it can alert Bradford NAC Director or Campus Manager to quarantine that host.
   * If a host violates a Sourcefire compliance rule or white list, Bradford NAC Director or Campus Manager can quarantine that host.
