Tourist Arrivals in July 2008 were 4.29 lakh where as in July 2009 it was 4.32 lakh.

This shows advancement in growth in Foreign Tourist Arrivals in India. As per the recorded data Foreign Tourist Arrivals during January - July 2008 were 28.99 lakh where as in January - July 2009 it shows growth where figures reaches to 31.49 lakh. This results in improvement in growth rate of FTAs, in July 2009 it reaches to 0.6 per cent where as in July 2008 it was recorded as 0.2 per cent.
