Prior to Protiviti, Patrick held industry positions for 12 years at American Express and Avnet, including Director of Internal Audit; Director of Information Protection, Disaster Recovery Planning (DRP) and Quality; and Vice President of Technology Reengineering, where he created and led a reengineering team of 70+ members which achieved a cost savings goal of $240 million. Patrick also led the IT Six Sigma program, which saved the company over $15 million in cost reduction and process improvements. He has also led other key initiatives including strategic planning, Activity Based Costing, employee reward and recognition, and performance benchmarking.
Patrick has developed a broad perspective from working with publicly-traded and private companies spanning such industries as higher education, financial services, manufacturing, high-tech, healthcare, media, and hospitality. He is recognized as a BCM subject matter expert and is a frequent presenter at such organizations as the Institute of Internal Auditors, Financial Executives Networking Group and the Information Systems Audit and Control Association. He has a Bachelors degree from Northern Arizona University and a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the Thunderbird School of Global Management.
