PULSE Approved for Aircraft Noise Certification

PR Log (Press Release) – Aug 11, 2009 – Following the Instituto Nacional de Técnica Aeroespacial (INTA) completion of noise tests, for the new Airbus A330 Multi Role Tanker Transport (MRTT) Aircraft, PULSE has been approved to international standards for aircraft noise certification.

Based on testing and extensive validation work at Brüel & Kjær headquarters, the company’s noise data acquisition, analysis, recording and reproducing system now complies with the International Civil Aviation Organisation Annex 16, Volume 1, Fourth Edition, Appendix 2. The validation is a general approval of the PULSE Data Acquisition and Analysis System for noise certification of all types of aircraft.
