FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

PR Log (Press Release)Aug 11, 2009 – Fusion h²0: Support the water that supports WA children
A NEW bottled water is about to flow into the Australian market this August – and 50 cents from every retail bottle sold will go to Variety WA. The children’s charity will also receive 10 cents from every bottle sold wholesale.

WA-owned and operated, Fusion h²0 is 100% pure, natural spring water sourced from a deep mineral spring in the uninhabited Pandaan highlands of East Java, complying fully with the relevant Australian standards.

Fusion h²0, a member of the Australian Bottled Water Institute, will be on sale from August 10 at a variety of outlets including Gull service stations and IGA supermarkets.

Retail Operations Manager Mandah Llewellyn said the water came from an area extremely high in minerals, helping to make it soft.

“We couldn’t be more happy with the results of our taste-testings; people love the softness of the water,” she said.

“Most bottled water is sold as 100% standard water and some products are just filtered tap water – there’s even one from Hawaii that is actually desalinated sea water.

“With Fusion h²0, our aim is to provide a high-quality water product that comes from a true natural source and delivers on taste.

“The Pandaan highlands is a volcanic region which, in turn, gives the spring water a high mineral content.

“We chose to source the water from this area, simply because Australia has a high clay and sand content in its soil, which creates hard spring water and ultimately affects the taste.”

Ms Llewellyn is confident of WA market success, after research showed that West Australians aged 18 to 35 had the second-highest consumption rate of bottled water in Australia.

“We also have a commitment to being good corporate citizens and are dedicated to helping Variety WA through sales of Fusion h²0,” she said.

“Our aim is to make this venture something more than a business to really help Variety WA in its efforts to provide for sick, disadvantaged and special needs children.

“Looking at out projected first-year figures, we estimate Variety WA will receive up to $100,000 by the end of our first 12 months.

“The impact of the organisation’s help can never be underestimated and, by choosing Fusion h²0, people are supporting its ongoing efforts to make the world a better place for thousands of needy kids.”

As the official water sponsor of Variety WA, Fusion h²0 will be available at many charity functions and events.

Also in the pipeline is a music concert – the Fusion Sounds Festival – on October 3 at the Fremantle Esplanade and specially-branded Fusion h²0 vending machines in late 2009.

More information about Fusion h²0 is available at www.fusionh20.com.au.
