Keep Nai Yang Beach Clean_7 August 2009
The Vice President Aor Bor Tor Sakoo, Khun Pramote Jongsuk on the stage giving the speech regarding to “Keep Nai Yang Beach Clean” on Friday 7th August, 2009 at 4:00pm.
This campaign brought by Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT), Phuket Marine Biological Centre (PBMBC) and Phuket Public Health Office (PPHO), intended to make Phuket be the first province in Thailand to adopt the long term approach of a better island and healthier life and be alerted on the planet. Simply actions are starting from home 4Rs. Reduce, Reuse, Recycle and be Responsible. Reduce your waste and plastic bag usage, Reuse items and as much as possible. Recycle plastic bottles, cans and bottles in new beach Recycling stations and are being built and be Responsible.
In earlier, this campaign has been scheduled for the Thursday August 6, 2009 at 3:00 PM in 28 different locations around Phuket island and it has been scheduled on every month till December 2009.
“In fact, the beach cleaning campaign was started since last year in the low season and continues to this year and contributed by hotel and resort staffs on
Nai Yang Beach; Indigo Pearl, Dewa, Siam Guardian Services company and the local food shops along Nai Yang Beach and National Park.
The beach cleaning campaign on Nai Yang Beach and National Park will be continued and expectation of more people will contributed as they aware of this attractive location should be preserved and maintained.
