Aug. 10, 2009 - PRLog -- EcoTuesday, a unique, structured monthly networking event for sustainable business leaders held concurrently in seven cities across the country, will feature speaker Tracy Hepler, co-founder of your daily thread, L.A.’s hub for all things green, local and sustainable. She is currently writing, speaking, and consulting on green living practices and will share with how to start an eco-centered business on a shoestring budget.  EcoTuesday will be held at Wokcano in Santa Monica on August 25 from 7:30 to 10 pm.

In addition to her work at your daily thread, Hepler is a blogger for The Huffington Post. She has a degree from UC Santa Barbara in Anthropology and Communications. After living without a car and carrying all of her possessions on her back for 8 months during her world travels she learned the true meaning of the phrase "less is more." After returning to the U.S. she was inspired to share that message as it relates to our planet.

EcoTuesday was created to offer sustainable business leaders a forum to network, collaborate and engage with others to create products and services that make a positive impact on the world. “EcoTuesday’s goal is to have a positive impact on business through the combination of our monthly live events and dynamic web community,” said Nikki Pava, President, EcoTuesday. “Through education and collaboration, we are changing the way we do business by bringing people together to create products and services that will make a positive impact on the marketplace and planet. Each month we are adding new cities to our family.”
