OZSoft Consulting’s Management Pack for SCOM Achieves Certified Integration with SAP NetWeaver®

Aug. 18, 2009 - PRLog -- CUPERTINO, Calif. – OZSoft Consulting Corp., a systems and performance management specialist, today announced its Management Pack for SCOM (Microsoft System Center Operations Manager) 1.0  has achieved SAP® certified integration with the SAP NetWeaver® technology platform.  The Management Pack for SCOM can provide customers with higher system availability through continuous system monitoring, improved awareness of core business processes and their effect on system operations.

The SAP Integration and Certification Center has certified that OZSoft’s Management Pack for SCOM 1.0 integrates with the SAP NetWeaver Application Server (SAP NetWeaver AS) component of SAP NetWeaver via the External Alert and Monitoring 6.10 integration scenario (BC-XAL 6.10).  The solution uses SAP released functions to exchange administration and monitoring data with the computing center management system (CCMS) of SAP NetWeaver.

Management Pack for SCOM 1.0 has also qualified as “SAP Solution Manager Ready”. As such, when Management Pack for SCOM is in a customer’s system landscape, the application configuration and log files are displayed in the SAP Solution Manager application management solution, which eases system landscape support and optimization.

The OZSoft Management Pack for SCOM is a low-cost, highly flexible solution that significantly improves the responsiveness of the customers’ IT operations staff and simplifies the maintenance of the IT infrastructure management platform.
