In 2007 Copy Craft Printers entered into digital printing with the HP Indigo 5000. Copy Craft Printers entered into digital printing as a means to bridge the gaps which could not be serviced by traditional offset printing. Adding digital printing to their capabilities, not only assisted in bridging a gap, it opened the door to a whole new client base. Copy Craft Printers realized in early 2009 the digital printing demands they had were quickly outgrowing what could be produced from the Indigo 5000. On August 1, 2009 Copy Craft Printers took the HP Indigo 7000 capabilities online.
Doug Frerich, a representative with Hewlett-Packard says the three key benefits Copy Craft Printers and their clients will receive from the Indigo 7000 are increased sheet size, improvement in blanket technology, and overall production speed.
Danny Stockton, Copy Craft Printers', CEO and President says; "These added benefits from the Indigo 7000 put us in a superior position to service our customers needs by allowing for shorter run lengths if needed due to economics, giving the customer exactly what the need when they need it, serve a wide range of products from direct mail to greeting cards to variable data, and the ability to increase our environmental friendliness by reducing waste and printing the exact quantity required."
