elephantSHU, a socially-conscious venture that creates hip, organic clothes for babies and young kids, today announced the grand opening of their online store, elephantSHU.com. A fixed percentage of each sale at elephantSHU is donated to San Francisco-based charities that aid children throughout the United States.
The elephantSHU collection consists of 100% organic, silk-screened onesies and t-shirts that are fun, stylish and age-appropriate for children up to 6 years old. As an eco-friendly and kid-friendly company, elephantSHU works with printing inks that are water-based and non-toxic, and uses recyclable packaging and shipping materials.
Born out of a desire to be part of something that's not only a reflection of their creative personalities, but more importantly, their advocacy of community service, Co-Founders, Scott Penwell and Claudia Pendleton, donate a fixed percentage of each sale at elephantSHU.com to San Francisco-based charities that make a real difference in the lives of children in need.
"Both our company and our designs are socially-conscious and art-driven," stated Scott Penwell, Co-Founder of elephantSHU. "We're proud to use recyclable packaging and shipping materials. Plus, all of the prints in our collection are limited edition runs and are meant to reflect our take on life and the world at-large!"
