David Mallory Lyrical Landscapes an exhibtion of paintings
Avenue 9 Gallery’s exhibition “David Mallory: Lyrical Landscapes” opens with a Saturday August 22 reception (5-8pm) and runs through September 26.
Mallory is well known in Chico as a superb violinist and retired CSUC Music Professor, and as a painter with an in-depth understanding of color theory. His ‘lyrical landscapes’ depict both the beauties of the North State and scenes from his travels in Europe and Mexico. Mallory will chat with visitors about his art during the Saturday September 5 Artwalk (4 and 8pm).
Members of the Avenue 9 Art Guild will also show new works.
