KANSAS CITY, MO. (August 3, 2007) – The National Portable Storage Association (NPSA) has announced a list of workshops for its 7th Annual Conference and Exposition at Caesar's Palace in Las Vegas from October 25-27, 2009.
"We have chosen workshop topics for our annual conference with market conditions in mind. With the down economy, sales and collections are both critical topics, for example, so we've focused on offering education in those areas," said John Finnessy, CMP, Executive Director the NPSA, a nonprofit membership association dedicated to the advancement of the portable storage industry. "However, innovation is also key, so we'll look at issues like portable storage as housing, as well as how to rise above the competition."
The NPSA's 7th Annual Conference and Exposition offers the following preliminary workshops and general session titles: "Collection Issues: We all have them, How to solve them", "Sales Skills from A to Z", "Blast Resistant Containers", "How to Be an Island of Excellence in an Ocean of Mediocrity", "ISBU 101: Using Containers to Build Houses", and "Issues Affecting the Single-Site Portable Storage Operator." The NPSA will also host a roundtable discussion on the issues affecting mobile storage businesses.

Registration is $675 for NPSA members and $1175 for non-NPSA members. Members can receive an discount by registering by September 20. Spouses of members pay only $320.
