Banks, Bonuses and the Bailout become Rock and Roll.

33 Billion Dollars in bonues funded by tax payers and no seemed to notice. 1 Rock and Roll video has decided to confront them.

Aug. 10, 2009 - PRLog -- Director Michael Cornell offers a light handed, free-spirited look at the collapse of American Capitalism, that is part "Alice in Wonderland" and part Oliver Stone's "Wall Street,"  in the rock and roll music video, LIVE MY LIFE.

Collaborating with musician/composer Kameron White originator of the Los Angeles band Rukas Juice and executive produced by actress Tracey Paleo (The Departed), Mr. Cornell has created an insider's artistic view, in black and white, which asks who is responsible for the greatest financial crisis of the new century.

Mr. Cornell was inspired by the Rukus Juice song, Live My Life, and how it actually related to the concept of American Freedom.  He felt that connecting it visually to the TARP controversy would be an interesting way to explore what has transpired in our economy, government and society.

From the Fellini-esq opening to Mr. White performing under the alias Sonic Project Corporation, denying any affiliation with his own video, Live My Life gives everyone a someone to blame and at the same time a "back at you" from those who seem to be in "control."

Cornell decided to create a farce.  A security camera 'capture' of what's really going on when no one else is looking.  But you be the judge.  He leaves it up to the audience to come to their own conclusions.  "I wanted images that resonate and to create a great Rock video."

Private Profits – Public Losses

In LIVE MY LIFE, “I can't control what you’re gonna be”  and “Don’t blame your anger on me” seem to be the anthem of those in power and control of our money to the “innocent' public. But are they innocent really?

Live Your Life keys in to how the apathy of the American public is just as responsible for the bailout as the persons, banks and othe institutions in charge.  They couldn’t have done it without our permission or if we had been paying attention.

It seems as if Mr. Cornell is asking questions about our society, economy and media information and distribution.

"If billions of dollars will be spent, some of it should be for entertainment purposes."
