It wasn’t too long ago when a diagnosis of breast cancer was a death sentence for everyone. Today, nearly 90% of women diagnosed with breast cancer will survive their disease at least 5 years, according to the National Cancer Institute. Yet, with fund raising, community awareness activities and corporate sponsorship of those activities the next five years will see an extension of five-year survival rates and a high percentage figure closer to 100%.
Sherman’s goal in 2009 is to draw more attention of the communities that his company serves than in the past two years. In 2007, ALL WASTE painted its roll off dumpsters, garbage dumpsters and roll containers pink. Last year’s 3-day, 60-mile walk was supported by ALL WASTE. Sherman’
