Robert Thomas is an American rock singer and song writer. He is a multi talented musician playing instruments such as the piano, guitar and several percussion instruments. Rob launched his career as lead singer for the popular band “Matchbox Twenty.” The band produced many famous hits over the years including; “Push,” “3 A.M,” “If You’re Gone,” “Mad Season,” “How Far We’ve Gone” and many others as well.
In April 2005, Rob Thomas began his solo career with the release of his album “Something to Be,” and the album quickly shot to #1 on the Album Charts. Rob’s first single off the album was titled “Lonely No More,” which reached #6 on the U.S. Billboard Hot 100 Chart. One of Rob’s songs off the album, “Little Wonders,” became a featured song on the hit soundtrack of Disney’s movie “Meet the Robinsons.” In June of 2009, Thomas released his second solo album “Cradlesong.”
Rob Thomas will begin his 7 month tour August 18, 2010 in Tempe, Arizona and will end on February 21, 2010 in Swan Valley, Australia. Rob Thomas will make his way to the Borgata Casino in Atlantic City on November 6th.
