Well, that's pretty much how Hand To Mouth Edibles was founded back in the day. Aaron Baum, a communications consultant and self-described "guy who loves to cook" listened to the suggestions of family and friends. He took their advice and changed careers to start his own gourmet food company.
Aaron realized that high quality spreads and tapenades were not so easily available and knew from the beginning that the key to making his gourmet foods taste great was using the finest all-natural ingredients. In 1997, Hand To Mouth Edibles was brought to the market with all-natural gourmet tapenades and spreads.

Aaron believes in giving something back to the community. So a portion of their profits benefit Share Our Strength - a national non-profit organization working to alleviate hunger and poverty.
